Our Hens
Their coop has a ramp up to the sleeping area, nesting boxes and a window. We use a heated bowl for their water so they never have to go without due to freezing. They eat pure chicken feed with no antibiotics along with fruits, vegetables and table scraps
They are friendly hens and will come when called hoping for a treat
Our hens are free range during the day. At night they cozy up in their coop on a thick bed of straw and are locked in for their own safety. They have a small, covered yard area where they patiently wait for us to let them out in to the 'big yard' for the day.
They are excellent egg layers and give us large brown eggs every day
