What are your prices?
There are a lot of factors that go in to the price of a doll. The cost of the blank kit, the body, hair, paint, eyes, clothing, diaper, pacifier not to mention the time it takes to bring them to life all play in to final cost. Painted hair does not take as long as rooted hair so they are less expensive. Rooting can take two to three weeks to complete so naturally those prices are higher.
Do you make silicone dolls?
I do not. Silicone is very expensive to purchase the blank kit. They take an entirely different kind of paint and I would have to take classes to learn how to do it. Maybe some day but not now.
What are your dolls made of?
The arms, legs and head are vinyl. Inside is filled with fine glass beads, stainless beads and soft poly-fill. The stainless steel beads are used for weight. I prefer my babies to have a realistic weight. If I were to fill the body with glass beads only I would have to pack it so full the baby would look like the Pillsbury dough boy. Stainless beads are heavy. Mixing them with the glass beads in the body allows for less beads and more soft filling causing the body to be soft, bend easily and more cuddly.
Do you do customs?
I do not. I prefer to bring the baby to life as I envision it. Honestly, I've heard nightmare stories from other artists about demanding customers ultimately unhappy with the completed baby. I don't want any part of that kind of stress. I put my completed babies out there and hope people like them.
Do you take payment plans?
Yes I do. Payment plan is as follows: $150 to $300 deposit to hold the doll (depending on the cost of the doll). This deposit is non refundable. Final payment can be split in to two monthly payments for a 3 month maximum total.
What payments do you take?
I take paypal and venmo. I send an invoice through paypal. Please note: The doll is never removed from sale until payment is in my account.
